Another recent scrapbooking effort!  Love this pic of my special girl!  The papers, borders, and large flower & butterfly stickers in this layout are from the BasicGrey Porcelain line.  I added some Crystal Stickles, Queen & Co. Pearls, Kaisercraft rhinestones, and some crystal stickers from Michaels to add some bling.  Miscellaneous chipboard alphas and rub-on quote complete the supply list :) Ready for summer?!

Technique Tuesday Cards

This is the first time I have purchased any products from Technique Tuesday.  These cards were really fun to put together, the instructions were clear, and it gave me lots of ideas for using a single small set of stamps in a variety of ways.

Daddy's Wish Layout

Yes, still years behind in my scrapping, but trying not to let that get me down! This picture was taken in July of 2008.  Daddy taking care of his littlest daughter.  This was one of those layouts that I "worked on" in my head for several days before I touched any paper.  For once it came together quickly and conforms fairly well to what I was imagining!  Most of the supplies are from the BasicGrey Granola line, but I also used Distress Stickles, Illuminate Smooch paint, and some chipboard alphas for the titles.  Hope you like it!

Snow Day - Part 2

Daddy doesn't have to go to work today until 12:30 so we cancelled homeschool again! I finished Chiefie's page last night and have now also completed Cleo's page.  It is bittersweet working on these pages, memorials for our dear 4-legged friends.  I sure miss them all. 

Super Snow Day!

We had a great, lazy day!  Here in central GA we had a rare instance of "winter weather" and Daddy didn't have to go to work, so we cancelled homeschool.  I spent the day reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" in front of the fire and scrapping.  First, I completed this page about our dog Kane, who we lost in July of 2009.  The deco squares and the center photo matte were created by scrapping friends for a swap. You can see my July 2009 blog entry for the journalling that I copied for this layout. I also started a page for Chief, who we lost in July of 2010, but that one isn't quite done yet.

Happy New Year!

Wow! I can't believe my last post was in November! Those of you who know me well are aware we had some escalating chaos in our house last year - and I'm praying that 2011 will be a calm, drama-free, uneventful year! Yeah, right! I somehow doubt that's what God has in mind for our family, but a girl can always hope, right??
Here are a couple of cards I created this week using my supplies from my favorite company, BasicGrey.  These are from their Green at Heart product line.  The supplies came with card-making instructions that I varied in order to create standard sized cards. I hate trying to figure out how to mail an odd-sized card that I don't have an envie for!
Anyway, thanks for looking & wishing all my friends & family a fantastic 2011!
