This Weeks Scraps

Here are a couple of the layouts I put together in the last week or so.  Still trying to finish off 2008 pictures... Both of these layouts were created using sketches/scraplifts for a challenge at the great Friends That Scrap yahoo group!  Thanks for giving me some inspiration!  I also raided some OLD supplies to put these together.  I've purchased quite a bit of new supplies lately, I decided it was time to USE some of the things that have been on the shelf for awhile to make room to put away the new toys!

And here are some of the cards I made recently.  These were not created for any challenge but I continued attempting to use some of my older supplies.  Aren't I a good girl?? The first five use a paper line called Little Sprout.  The next one includes a cute "thank you" transparency that made that card super quick to put together (after I figured out how to attach the transparency without having any adhesive show!). The next card includes some metal embellishments. I always liked these, but never found just the right place to use them - so I created just the right place. The last one uses some miscellaneous die cuts. Actually, they are from the same kit that the Summer layout above uses. Lots of fun and feeling less guiltly about my "stash" now!

The Scrap Continues!

Some days I can struggle forever on a layout or card and never get it "quite right". Today, things fell into place and I was able to complete a lot of projects.  This eveninng I worked on a couple of challenges provided by the great yahoo group FriendsThatScrap.  Here they are:

Scrappy Day!!

Today was a great scrappy day for me! I got a lot accomplished! First, I finished a 2 page layout from our trip to OK in 2008.  This layout was created with my new Graphics 45 Renaissance papers.
My next projects were also from the fall of 2008 (maybe someday I'll start working on 2009 pics...) I used Pink Paislee's Queen Bee papers for both of these layouts.  And the amazing thing? I didn't use any stickles on these pages!
