(Some of) Our Dogs

This layout includes pictures of many of the pets we had in the spring of 2009.  What happy memories! Our four-legged friends have really blessed our lives! (If you click on it the image will enlarge so you can see it better!)

Two More Floral Cards

These are two more cards I recently put together using Memory Makers Fresh Anthology Sydney papers.  I stamped "Happy Anniversary" inside, but the general design and papers would be good for many occasions.
Thanks for looking!

Grandpa & Grandma Visit - March 2009

Yes, STILL working through pictures from the spring of 2009.  Seems like I had hundreds of memories I couldn't pass over from March and April of 2009 - so there are quite a few more layouts to complete before I will be moving on to the summer of 2009.  Oh, well.  The enjoyment is in the journey on scrapping, right?!  This layout was created using Pink Paisley supplies - the papers are from the 365 degrees line & the die cuts are from the Queen Bee line.

Cherry Blossom Parade Layout - March 2009

I had a lot of fun working on this layout - lots of pink which isn't my usual style, but the cherry blossoms & the azalea blossoms seemed to require it.  As you can see I'm using my two new butterfly punches all the time - plus more stickles! (I think if you click on the image you can get an enlarged image to see the pictures and details better!)
Thanks for looking!

Butterfly Card

Love my two new butterfly punches! I purchased one and the other I received as a queen gift from one of my friends on the Friends that Scrap Yahoo group!

Softball Sass Layout - Spring 2009

This is a layout with some cute photos of my oldest daughter taken in the spring of 2009.  Love the fun, playful attitude!

Homeschool Layout - Jan 2009

I recently completed this layout from January 2009.  This is when we pulled the last two kiddos out of private school - resulting in homeschool with FIVE children! It's been an adventure, but God knew what he was doing when he paved the way for me to take on this challenge gradually.  I never would have considered homeschooling them ALL on day one.  What a blessing!

Making the Most of Scraps

Making a pile of cards inevitably leads to a pile of scraps & I hate to throw them away.  Here are a couple of the cards I made with "left overs":

A Selection of 2011 Christmas Cards

When I make Christmas cards each year I sit down with all my Christmas themed supplies and just play.  Sometimes I love the results, sometimes not quite as much, but it's a lot of fun for me.  Rarely are there ever two cards exactly alike as I rarely have duplicates of embellishments.  I made about 70 cards this year.  Here are a few of the ones I liked best:

Bloom - Spring 2009

I love these pictures of my daughter!  They were taken in our back yard on a warm sprind afternoon.  Doesn't she look cute?  The purple shiny background is actually fabric.  It is from a Chinese dress my daughter outgrew years ago.  The front of the dress was too snagged for anyone to really wear, but the fabric was so pretty I stuck it away in my scrapping drawer. I'm so glad I did! It worked out great with this layout!
