I had 3 sheets of paper left over from a kit, added som ribbons, brads, and paper scraps, and put together these cards! I love the brown/blue color combination. What do you think?

Friends that Scrap Blog Hop!

One of my favorite things about the group (if I have to pick just one) is the monthly sketch challenge.  Here is the sketch for July:

I used this sketch for my Destination Summer project and created this layout of some pictures I took on a picnic with my "little kids" while the "big kids" were at basketball camp.  I really like the foam title letters - just picked those up at Hobby Lobby last week.  Wish I had a couple more Jolee's dragonflies to add, but sometimes you just have to work with that you have :)

New Layouts!

The first layout is for a poem written by my DD2 in January 2009 at age 11.  The sandcastle was not made by me, I received it ages ago from one of my yahoo group scrapping friends.

I received the cute embellishments for this layout from one of my friends in the yahoo group Friends That Scrap. Thought it was a good opportunity to do a layout devoted to my Sweetie!

This layout was put together for a Friends that Scrap challenge. This is an attempt to include a little dose of inside information - our family's reality....
