The Swim layout was lots of fun. Used to different kinds of paint on the chipboard swirls and used one of my border punches on the brown cardstock. But the best part was using one of my transparencies! I have quite a few and never figure out how to use them. I think the transparent blue semicircles work very well here!
The Dining Out layout was created with a sketch challenge in mind. One of my yahoo groups is hosting a challenge - they post a sketch & you use it to create a layout. This is what I came up with. The ladybug ribbon and brads were recently received from a PIF and the other ladybug embellishments were received years ago from a swap I participated in. Since I couldn't find any picnic themed embellishments I thought the ladybugs were a cute option!
