In May of 2010, Daddy had to go to St. Augustine for work so we tagged along. We found a great little rental that allowed us to bring Chief and had a small private yard and pool.  We had a blast!

 

 

 

Friends That Scrap Card Challenge

My favorite scrapbooking Yahoo Group, Friends that Scrap, hosted a weekly card challenge.  Each week a sketch was provided along with some requirements for techniques and supplies. I was able to stick with it for awhile, but eventually could not keep up.  Here are a few of my cards.

Christmas - A Little Late :)

Yep. Way overdue for a post! Here are a couple of my favorite Christmas cards I made and sent for the 2012 holidays! Maybe you'll be inspired to start working on your 2013 cards, or maybe use one as a sketch for a different holiday!

Fun with Chevron

I've been working on getting my Christmas cards done for this year.  I bought a fantastic kit from Jillibean Soup - I think I'll have to get another in the future! I love the great cards that the kit includes instructions for and there are plenty of supplies left to make more cards. These cards were made from some of the extra papers.
Friends that Scrap yahoo group is hosting a weekly card sketch challenge.  This week's sketch featured the popular chevron pattern.  I knew I'd seen some "how to" information on the web somewhere, so this was a perfect opportunity to try it out!  I found a fantastic tutorial that walked me simply through the process. 
So here are the two cards I've created so far with the chevron I made.  I put together a bit more of the chevron so that I can make a few more of these cards.  I like the technique - what do you think?
